PayPal

Redesigning the PayPal consumer site.

The Redesign

It was an honor helping to design and implement the upcoming new look of PayPal. The redesign consisted of updating the structure for upcoming features, the typeface, new colors, icons, and all visual elements.

New Features

One of the most anticipated new features we worked on is called Goals, which allows a person to keep track of their saving toward a future purchase.

The Wallet

The Wallet page, renamed “Payment Methods”, is where someone can add or edit the banks and cards they have linked to their PayPal account. The redesign required all flows and scenarios to be rebuilt entirely on the new framework.

Linking a card

One of the more important flows from the site. Users can quickly add a card so they can send money or buy things with PayPal.

Updating a card

The following is an example of a flow I redesigned for PayPal. The user starts on the mobile home page, navigates to the wallet and re-enters their card info. Password is the same.

A few additional scenarios of the Wallet page.

Various examples of the Wallet page. PayPal Balance, currencies, and an empty state for new users.
